Prize Poet Unlucky Yesterday in
Bastardo (province of Perugia) we celebrated the day of the poet
loser, a commemoration of talented but unknown artists, poets and writers who have had the misfortune to be much more famous contemporaries of their colleagues relatives and that just because these were more or less wrong, all life in the shadows or even been forgotten, so they are never mentioned in literary texts.
This year the poet prize loser
2011 was awarded, posthumously, of course, to
CHEETAHS James, born in Recanati (and died in Recamorti, ça va sans dire), and cousin by the mother of Giacomo Leopardi, in the presence of the Minister of Heritage guttural Rosy Bondi.
for the occasion were brought to light some of his most significant works such as "The storm before the calm
" and "The gerund
" the latter dedicated to the friends and Armando Ferdinand, from which it has drawn heavily and slyly Leopardi respectively for its well-known "The calm after the storm
" and "The Infinite
.
But the poem that had the most weight for the award the prize is "the weekend of
Village", written by the Cheetahs when Paul Village was not yet born, nor his parents and grandparents, so futuristic and visionary work, then his cousin Leopardi retitration "On Saturday
Village "throwing out, but unfortunately the extraordinary poetry of today we only have the title as the only existing copy until yesterday disintegrated just arrived in the hands of the minister who will be minister without portfolio
perhaps but certainly not
without bad luck (and therefore the right place at the right time).
The outcome for the award was very uncertain as to the last era molto alta la qualità di tutte le opere in gara; fra gli altri partecipanti al premio vanno infatti citati autori come
Giovanni PASTURE , nato a S.Mauro Pasture, cugino, anch'egli da parte di madre, di Giovanni Pascoli, presente con due opere "
La cavallina storta " e "
Dolcegabbana " quest'ultima ripresa in seguito dal Pascoli e rinominata "
Valentino ",
Silvio SPELLICO con il libro "
I miei penitenziari ",
Edmondo DE NEMICIS con la sua opera più toccante "
Miocardio " e infine
Luigi P. RANDELLO con due dei suoi principali romanzi: "
Il FuMa TtiaPallMall " (sigarette dell'epoca
n.d.r. ) e "
Uno Belluno Centocelle ".
La prossima edizione del "premio poeta sfigato" si terrà ad
Arcore dove vive tuttora il nipote di Giuseppe Ungaretti (sempre e inesorabilmente da parte di madre ovviamente) PierGiuseppe BUNGABUNGARETTI.
